Plain version: use the site sensibly, the prices here are a description rather than a binding quote, and if we end up working together the agreement we both sign is the one that counts.

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of getfi.tech. They are not the terms of a client engagement. If you hire us, the written proposal or agreement we sign together governs that work, and where it differs from this page, the signed agreement wins.

Using this site

You are welcome to read, link to and quote this site. Please do not try to break it, scan it for vulnerabilities without asking, scrape it wholesale, or use the contact form to send bulk or automated messages.

Prices and descriptions

The plans and figures on the pricing page describe what we normally charge. They are not a formal offer, and a page can fall out of date. Anything binding will be confirmed in writing for your specific project before work starts. Examples on the work page are illustrative and are not a promise of particular results — search rankings and business outcomes depend on far more than a website.

What you own

We build sites you own. In practice that means your domain stays registered in your name, your content is yours, and the accounts we set up for you belong to you with us added as a manager. The specifics for your project are set out in your engagement agreement.

What we own

The text, images, layout, code and branding of this website are ours, along with the Functional Intelligence name and logo. Reusing them as your own is not okay; quoting us with attribution is fine.

No warranty

This website is provided as it is. We put care into keeping it accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date, and nothing on it is professional advice for your particular situation.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Functional Intelligence, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website — lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited. Liability arising from client work is dealt with in your engagement agreement, not here.

Links and embedded content

This site links to other websites and embeds a Google map on the contact page. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts serving Denver, Colorado.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
